August 27, 2026:  I have so many memories of the peaceful dreamy sunset strolls along the stretch from the our place down to the old Fairhope Pier - or vice versa starting at the goose pond and walking toward the American Legion and Gambino's.  A joy to my heart and an inspiration with the clear beautiful sky, the radiant sunset in the sky and water, the sailboats on Mobile Bay. . .

I stopped and breathed it all in that wondrous afternoon. . . it was my peace and glory time every afternoon and I never took that era for granted.

And I never will.

"A Million Sailing Suns" is in the sale today, and I look forward to people seeing this tribute (Fairhope Memoirs No. 2) in person - but not getting too close as the oils are not quite dry...
